We continue shopping at Senado Square and have other snacks. We buy many pasteries from the two famous shop, Koi Kei Bakery (鉅記手信) and Choi Heong Yuen Bakery (咀香園餅家) for gift to our friends and colleague back home. The most popular items include the almond cake, egg roll, crunchy peanut candy, and fillet of beef and pork from Koi Kei Bakery. The most thrilling items include charcoal burn, almond cakes, egg rools, phoenix rolls, garden cake from Choi Heong Yuen Bakery.

We have some drinks and snacks from the store as shown below. But not the pork bun, as we are saving our stomach for the pork buns from the famous store in Taipa Island. We have try pork and chicken bun from other stores during our stay in Macau. They also taste good, so this may well be nice too. Important is to eat it when it is hot from oven.

My sister has her eyes open to find this store. Otherwise we have miss the change to eat the snacks make by the old couple. I have not eaten this for a long time. Pun Veng Kei Pastelaria (潘榮記) is famous for the money cake.

We have dinner at the recommended eatery, Wong Chi Kei (黃枝記). It is famous for shrimp roe noodles (蝦子麵). Be prepared for the long queue.

If you prefer to skip the queue at Wong Chi Kei, on the same side of Leal Senado Building, walk further down Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and turn left into Rua Dos Mercadores (大街), then turn right into Rua da Felicidade (福隆新街) to locate another famous store Cheong Kei (祥记面家) which also sell famous shrimp roe noodle. Cheong Kei’s shrimp roe noodles have a good savoury taste like Wong Chi Kei’s. But I prefer Cheong Kei’s shrimp roe noodles as the noodles are springy yet softer, in other words, not as firm as Wong Chi Kei’s.
