Taipa Island, Macau, SAR Of China (Part 2 of 3)

Beside shopping and dining around Taipa Village and Rua do Cunha, there are some tourist attractions for visiting. Opposite of Mok Yi Kei, you will find this staircase leading to the Taipa Houses-Museum. Climb the staircase and follow the signboard direction and you will soon reach Taipa Houses.

Before reaching Taipa Houses-Museum, you can rest and take some photos at Our Lady of Carmel Church. Unfortunately, the church is under renovation, hence we  miss the chance to step into the church. So we just take some photos around the place before visiting the museum which is just beside/below this place.

The Taipa Houses-Museum, which includes five typical green houses with Macanese architectural characteristics of Portuguese matrix, is considered one of the cultural relics and heritages of the Island. Next to the Taipa Houses-Museum is the Municipal Garden.
