Brunei (BND) - notes

It looks like over the years, all notes are in polymer. Apparently it lasts longer than paper series. Read that these notes are fourth series (1996-2000) notes from Wikipedia.

Brunei (BND) - notes

1 Brunei dollar is equal to 1 Singapore dollar, and has been consistent over the years. If you pay anyone in Singapore with Brunei dollar, you will not get rejected because it has the same value as Singapore dollar. This is not so for Malaysia Ringgit.

Brunei (BND) - coins

I noticed that one side of the coins will be different for all the denomination. Is it so for all the currencies in the world?

Singapore (SGD) - notes

I used to have $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 old notes. So where are they now? I spent it...... wish that I had kept them. So what about the new notes. Since they are still in circulation, they don't qualify to be in this post yet.

Singapore (SGD) - coins

I don't own a camera as such the pictures may not be sharp. They are taken from my modest phone camera with low resolution. Still they are good enough to keep for fond memories in my old days.

Do you notice any difference between the old coins and the new coins? Take a closer look, it is not difficult to notice the differences. The new coins, the front side has different design but the back has same design. As for the old coins, it is the reverse. The front side has the same design and the back has different design.

Singapore (SGD) - coins

I am presenting some collection over the years in my blog. Such hobby will cost me a bomb, so am only able to collect some coins and dollar notes left over from overseas trips. It is not fantastic collection compare to those real collectors out there. There are some coins that I don't even know where they are from. They are given by my grandfather through my mum. You will get to see them in future post. Starting off with Singapore coins and dollar notes first.

Owl Traditional Coffee Mixture

I can't taste the sugar in this 2-in-1 packet coffee. It simply tastes like black coffee without sugar. The new Owl brand packaging looks appealing, but content is otherwise. Still it is good enough for those who love to go to coffee shop and order a cup of "kopi-o siew dai" (coffee black less sugar).

G7 Coffee

Vietnam coffee how does it taste? It is not heavy going and is sour. Am not use to such taste. Wonder is this the authentic Vietnam coffee taste. May be I will start to appreciate it if I drink a few more times.
