Port Dickson, Malaysia (Part 5 of 6)

Here are more pictures of Avillion Port Dickson Hotel. The sea and the greenary, gave a calming and peaceful feel, that helped one to relax easily at such atmosphere.

Beside the Village pool, there is another Adult pool, solely designated for serious swimmer. The Village pool is filled with laughter of the children, whereas the Adult pool was quiet. It is suitable for those who love to have a peaceful swim and reading a nice book by the pool. It is thoughtful of the hotel to have separate pool for the family and for serious swimmer.

Port Dickson, Malaysia (Part 2 of 6)

Having read how we ended up in Port Dickson, here is what you are waiting for, view of the hotel that we stayed. We stayed at Avillion Port Dickson Hotel. I was a little disappointed because of the size of the hotel area. I was expecting it to be covering a huge area, just like those resort in Bintan and Batam. Nevertheless, it was still a good place to slack.

The best place to stay will be the premium water chalet near to AviSpa. Do request for the room starting with 6 series (left of AviSpa) or 7 series (right of AviSpa). We were very fortunate to be staying at one of the best location, right in the sea, facing the sea, where we can view sun-rise and sun-set.

We were welcomed by friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Every corners of the hotel, you will meet polite staff and they are ready to give you a smile that brighten up your day. Thumbs up for the management having trained such good service oriented employees.

Dinning wise, Village Court serves buffet dinner on Saturday for RM88. You can have ala-cart meal at Crow's Nest or Gallery Lounge. The food taste average. If you are more adventurous type, you can walk for 10 - 15 mins along the road where the beach is, for some dinning places. It is further down from the bazzar area.

Port Dickson, Malaysia (Part 1 of 6)

How did we end up at Port Dickson? Well, I saw the pictures on my friend's facebook. The place seemed rather cool, hence contacted my friend for information. I checked out the website that was given, but find that it is a bit expensive for a 2D1N trip to Malaysia. However it is a place that I like to visit for a weekend get-away.

I saw an online deal where my friend stayed during his trip to Port Dickson. The price from the online deal was much cheaper than the price from the official hotel website. In addition, the price quoted included buffet breakfast and 2-way VIP coach. Beside taking the risk to purchase such online deal, the other reason was that we were too busy to make separate arrangement for hotel booking and 2-way coach services.

The deal was purchased from Deal.com.sg for SGD98 that tied up with merchant Gel Travel. The packaged tour if purchase directly from Gel Travel will cost SGD119. The price is definately cheaper than booking direct from the hotel. If you are interested to get such cheap deal, do look out for the deal from Deal.com.sg, as they may have the deal again.

10:30 - Leave Malaysia Immigration Check-point
12:00 - Stop for lunch
12:30 - Leave for hotel
14:45 - Reach hotel & check-in hotel

Lunch area
The coach journey is about 5 to 6 hours depending on how much time is taken up at custom, lunch, p-stop point and how co-operative are the passengers in the coach. The journey back from Port Dickson is much faster, since there is no lunch break. Take naps and read a book, and your destination is reached.

The picture on the right, was where we had lunch and toilet break. You can do some shopping here.

Nescafe Gold 3-in-1

It has the same aroma as the bottled powder form Nescafe Gold. In the bottled form, you get to decide how many teaspoons of coffe powder you want and how much sugar and milk you like. Well, I just cannot get the right mix, hence the 3-in-1 will be ideal for people like me who can never get the right mixture of coffee powder, sugar and milk.
